If the cake is frozen, thaw slightly before applying the topper.
If butter cream has formed a crust, spray a fine mist of water before applying the product. You should not add extra moisture to non-dairy whipped toppings.
Add a generous mist of water over royal frosting before applying the edible image.
If the topper “bubbles” after application, gently tap (do not rub) the topper.
Feel free to write down inscriptions on top of the Edible Picture. Just be careful to never push your decorating tip through the picture after application.
Keep away from extensive exposure to ultraviolet lighting. As with all food coloring, the edible image will fade over time.
We highly recommend storing the edible image inside of room temperature. The product has a shelf life of six months when stored properly.
If the edible image is too moist, refrigerate or freeze the topper for about thirty minutes.
If the edible image is too dry and showing signs of brittleness and cracking, place it in a zip-lock bag and refrigerate it for an hour. If your image has began to crack, it was probably stored in a low-humidity setting for too long and may not be able to recover. If you follow our storage instruction, however, this will not happen!
